Creative Pet photography
As well as providing fun vibrant Couple's + Engagement photography, children and family portraits and Pet photography services I also enjoy flexing my creative muscles once in a while for my own personal work, because I Love photography and being a photographer I strive to provide something fresh and interesting and in order to do that you have to think a little outside the box in order to keep things fun and refreshing for yourself!
So off we go on a dog walk as I am a dog owner of four wonderful dogs, this time me and the spookish (white dog red coat) headed out for a walk in the Lincolnshire countryside with a good friend and his bulldog
A technique I have been playing with lately is double exposure's , the camera takes two photographs and overlays one over the other
the second technique I have been playing with is using lightbending tools, remember when you were in school? ok stop really think, I'm guessing at some point in perhaps science class you were taught about prisms and how they can demonstrate the varying spectrums of light. well I figure hey well photography is all about painting with light, the light is registered on the sensor of your camera in order to produce an image , so let's bend that light and have some fun!
So how does this work? well you hold the prism in front of the lens and twist and turn it in various ways and angles until you see something you like or looks a little creatibe and funky
So double exposures how does that all work?
your camera takes two photos, one of which gets overlayed on the other to create a ghostly almost surreal effect , I chose a portrait of the spookish and the Lincolnshire countryside we were walking in that I know she loves , it really is her favourite place!
